Overview
We value your satisfaction with our handmade soaps. Our refund and return policy is valid for 30 days from your purchase date. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on used soaps or items not in their original condition.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain goods are exempt from being returned, including:
- Perishable items (other than soap) such as food, flowers, etc.
- Gift cards
- Custom or personalized orders
- Items on sale
Return Process
To initiate a return, please provide a receipt or proof of purchase. Contact us at contact@loresoap.com before sending your item back to us.
Refunds
Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 25 days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account again and contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@loresoap.com.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please note – our soap is handmade and therefore there may be slight imperfections. Imperfections do not constitute a defective nor damaged product. For exchanges, send us an email at contact@loresoap.com and we will provide instructions for processing an exchange or return.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will go to the original purchaser.
Shipping Returns
To return your product, mail it to: {physical address}. You will be responsible for your own shipping costs. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
